Description: Up for your consideration is a vintage ceramic Googly Eye Dog Bank that measures 3" wide from ear to ear and 4 1/2" tall. The dog is white with blue spots and his red tongue is hanging out the side of his mouth. He also has a brown collar as well as a brown nose. There is a slot on top of the dog's head so you can insert coins but there is no way to get the coins out as there is no opening on the bottom. The dog bank is in nearly mint condition as there are no chips or cracks. The only flaw I can see is some sloppy painting which is quite common with these Made in Japan pieces. The bottom is marked Made in Japan and is probably from the 1950's. Please make sure to visit my eBay store "Robin's Vintage Finds" as I have a lot of other Made in Japan items listed.
