Description: A 1948 Zenith 7H820 tabletop tube-based broadcast receiver. It picks up two FM bands and the BC (broadcast) band used after World War II. The case is Bakelite, very rugged. Made in Chicago, it features "The Armstrong System." The radio is 15.25 inches long, 8.75 inches tall, and 8.75 inches from knob tip to back. I do not know if the unit works, as the cord is extremely dry and frayed, as pictured, and I am afraid to test it. Pieces of insulation were falling off as I moved it around. Cable replacement should be fairly straightforward, and I thought about giving it a shot, but I am really trying to make some space, and this unit is currently in the way. I think it would make an excellent restoration project, and I would love whoever does it to send me some pictures or video! I try to capture the condition and any flaws in the pictures and include them in the description. If you have any questions or want more pictures, please ask. I will also combine shipping and I'm willing to work within the constraints of eBay rules if you have multiple auctions not ending at the same time.
