Description: This vintage General Electric electronic play talk tin lithographed turn table and speaker/microphone were created to record and play back a child’s voice. The turn table , speaker and original cords are in good condition. The turn table works although it turns slowly, and the speaker audibly turns on. There are no magnetic discs included with this machine. There are some tiny scratches and some minor oxidation on the base as shown in the pictures. The original box comes with this item but is not in good condition. The approximate measurements of this toy are as follows: speaker 4” x 5 1/2”, turn table length is 12”, maximum width is 8 1/2”, height including player arm is 5”. All of the lithography is in very good condition as shown in the pictures. Our research indicates that these machines were created in 1949 and 1950. The needle and magnetic eraser are included with the items.
