Vintage 1940 Remington Remette Typewriter With Case WORKING AS-FOUND CONDITION

Description: A wonderful old portable manual typewriter with original case and Touch Method Instruction Book, dated 1940. Made in USA by Remington Rand Inc. Keys are in good condition for age. The “A” , “L” and one symbol key stick. Shift function and all knobs and levers work. Two of the four round hard rubber “feet” on the bottom are missing/damaged. It smells slightly “old” like being stored in the attic. I am offering it AS-FOUND in tested and working condition, with the exception of the sticky keys. It has an extra ribbon, as found in the case. The case shows minor wear and tarnish to metal buckles. Dirt, scuffs and smudges noted. Hardware made by Eagle Lock Co Terryville Conn. THIS IS OLD AND A BIT DUSTY FROM STORAGE. I AM NOT A TYPEWRITER REPAIR PERSON. IT IS WONDERFUL FOR DECOR, BUT IF YOU WANT TO USE IT FOR TYPING, IT COULD USE A SERVICE TUNE-UP.
