Description: For your consideration is a 1930's Gillette Red and Black set, featuring the elusive 15mm New DeLuxe. The razor itself is free of bent teeth and any heavy damage. The gold plating has worn off, and the whole thing is bare brass, with the top cap and baseplate sporting yellow brass and the handle, which is free of cracks or splits, is red brass. The case opens and closes well, and the spring inside is still functional, surprisingly. The felt lining is in decent shape, but not perfect. Luckily, the foiled Gillette logo is still visible and legible. The red and black leather has a few spots of wear, and what looks like tape residue on the bottom that I've opted to leave, for fear of damaging the leather trying to remove it. Please note, the second, 17mm baseplate pictured in picture #16 DOES NOT COME WITH THE LISTING. It is just used to prove that this is a 15mm and not a 17mm. As with all my listings, everything has been boiled for sanitary reasons and then polished with a jeweler's cloth.
