Description: Vintage 1920s smocked drop waist mesh dress. In very good condition for the age and delicate fabric composition. There are a few very small holes, mostly on the skirt. This is concealed by the natural pleating. Smocking along the neckline, waistband and sleeves. The fabric has a slight stretch to it. Button closure on the back. Most likely a "juniors" dress. Could be worn as a mini dress, overlay or tunic top. The garment was soaked in antique fabric wash and restored to bright white.
