Description: Up for auction a vintage 12" Blue Ocean World Globe on Airplane Base by Weber Costello. I would date it late 40's. A few important dates:Germany is NOT divided. 1945 - Nazis defeated. Germany divided into East and WestFrench Indo-China listed. Changed in 1950.It has a half meridian that rests on its airplane. The metal is a wonderful copper colored metal as seen in the photos.
