Description: For your consideration is a coffee pot that was manufactured with an apparatus that enables it to be easily tipped and poured from. it was manufactured by Boston Silver Company. The writing on the bottom of the apparatus is in a circle, and it reads: BOSTON QUADRUPLE PLATE. Inside of the circle is writing that reads: SILVER CO. There is other writing on the bottom of the apparatus, but I assume it only has meaning for the workers in the factory, where it was made. It has a maximum height of 20-20 1/4" (it was impossible for me to get an accurate measurement) and the bottom as a diameter of slightly more than 9 1/8". The bottom of the pot has the same circular maker's mark as the apparatus it hangs in, but the factory workers mark are different (probably because it is a different part) and it has a stamped in 125. The pot (by itself) has a height of approximately 12 3/4" and the bottom of the pot, has a diameter of 7".This coffee pot is an old item, that was used. Much of Quadruple plate is missing. The base of the pot, has a major dent. The hanging frame and the pot has several minor dings, dents and other minor imperfections. I am very confident, that if someone bothered with straightening it and making it aligned properly, it would be an excellent candidate for new plating.
