Description: DATING TO THE 1890’S FASHIONED OF A BLACK WOOL AND IS FULLY LINED IN THE INTERIOR IN BLACK SILK TAFFETA. BLACK SILK TAFFETA BANDS RUN ATOP THE SHOULDER AND HALF WAY DOWN THE FRONT AND REAR. DOUBLE BREASTED WITH KNIT BUTTONS CLOSING. BLACK SILK TAFFETA BELTING CLOSES IN THE FRONT WITH BOTTOM EDGES TRIMMED IN GOTHIC POINTED EDGING THAT IS APPLIED WITH SILK TAFFETA AND VENTED IN THE REAR. CUFFS ARE TURNED UP AND TRIMMED IN THE BLACK SILK TAFFETA. CONDITION: SOLD AS ACQUIRED, REFLECTIVE OF THE CONDITION. THERE IS A SCATTERING OF HOLES ON THE RIGHT SIDE WITH TWO LARGE FINGERTIP HOLES IN THE PUFF OF THE SHOULDER ON THE RIGHT SIDE. ONE ERASER SIZED HOLE IS ON THE INNER LEFT SLEEVE WITH A SCATTERING OF HOLES ON THE REAR SLEEVE ASIDE THE UNDERARM SEAM ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THE LINING HAS PINHEAD HOLES AND THE SLEEVES HAVE BREAKAGE TO THE LINING ON THE INTERIOR. SMALL BREAKAGE IS BEGINNING ALONG THE GOTHIC POINTS ON THE BOTTOM EDGES.
