Description: I acquired this Victor adding machine from downsizing auction in Northeast Iowa on a farm. This collector had two adding machines; this is the first one. This adding machine looks great, and has very little wear considering it's vintage. It clearly has been kept under the cover. However, it is not in working order. The buttons do not work, some of them are pressed down and don't move. The dial which spins the paper up works, but not particularly well. I got the paper to move up, but not back down. I think the whole thing needs a good cleaning and lubrication and a whole lot more knowledge about adding machines than I have. The crank handle spins downward but not back up.
