VERY RARE HASSELBLAD 500 EL/ELM BLIMP 58106

Description: This is a rare Hasselblad 500 EL/ELM blimp. It is made of waterproof heavy canvas. It was designed to minimize shutter and motor sound for film and wildlife photography. It does not have the lens extension cover. Some of the snaps and rivets are rusty, but all function properly. I have owned this blimp for over 40 years. The snaps and rivets were rusty when I bought it. I ship only to the continental 48 US States. No overseas shipments. I repeat, no overseas shipments. What you see in the photos, is exactly what you will receive. My family was in the photography business from 1946 until 2014 when my father passed away. This item is from our Hasselblad collection. E-Bay and PayPal have instituted a new policy towards shipping. They now charge a combined 15% commission on shipping charges. My shipping quotes now allow for this commission plus shipping material costs and travel time to the Post Office. I do try my best to keep the shipping prices as low as possible by re-using boxes and packing, but sometimes I have to buy these materials.
