For price reference see page # 218 in the book, 'Doll Values' 13th Edition by Linda Edward - (book price is $7,000). She was made from ca: 1858 - 1860. She has lovely flawless bisque; dark cobalt blue eyes; carefully painted eye lashes; original wig over cork pate; sturdy clean kid French style body. She wears a mint green velvet skirt and lace trimmed jacket; three lace trimmed undershirts; lace trimmed pantaloons; leather shoes with cotton socks; and a wonderful hat with bird and flowers and feathers. She also has lovely beaded earrings. She has a swivel head on a bisque shoulder plate. Note the photo with the mark on the back of the shoulder plate. And please look closely at her facial painting - outstanding !!! This rare French fashion will be a wonderful addition to any doll collection.
