VERY NICE Vintage Artisan LARGE Ornate Sterling Silver Turquoise Nugget Ring

Description: Wonderful vintage, large artisan/designer ornate sterling silver and turquoise nugget ring, size 6 1/2, sizable. This fabulous vintage ring is uniquely spectacular. It is MUCH nicer in reality than it appears in my photos. It is one of a kind, hefty and very well made. This unusual ring is one inch long, sits up off of the finger by 5/8” and weighs 11 grams. The nugget is approximately 18 mm long by 15 mm wide by 10 mm deep and it is a brilliant, intense blue to blue-green with black to brown matrix. It is quite faded in my photos by comparison. I LOVE the setting. It is quite sturdy, extremely well crafted and very interesting. It features a faux split shank with three “ropes” extending up the shoulders on each side, wrapping in large double knots at the base of the six long prongs that hold the turquoise nugget. This ring measures as a size 6 1/2 on my mandrel, but may fit a tad larger. It can certainly be sized by any competent jeweler, if needed. I REALLY want to keep this ring!! It looks fabulous on the hand and is quite comfortable. I acquired another similar ring from the same estate that also features a very large turquoise nugget in a huge, ornate free-form setting that is equally wonderful and I just can’t decide which one I like better. I am listing them both and I am hoping they sell quickly. I just can’t keep everything, but these two rings would be worth it. This ring is in very good vintage condition with no damage other than very minor, age appropriate surface wear or oxidation. It is not signed, but it has been professionally tested as solid sterling silver and the turquoise nugget has been verified by a certified gemologist. The turquoise has no damage other than its original natural inclusions.
