VERY Late War 2 PIECE WOOD SCABBARD Japanese Last Ditch Arisaka Type 30 Bayonet

Description: Awesome original Toyoda loom works wooden scabbard bayonet. This example sports a SUPER late war two piece bamboo scabbard held together by some thin wire. It is not cracked! This was probably one of the last few to come out before surrender. When this was made, they were at the point that they weren't attaching any metal to the scabbards, and were just haphazardly slapping two pieces of bamboo together and saying "good enough!" This is on the level of the sling hole stocked type 99s and pole bayonets. A weapon forged in desperation... Bayonet itself is in excellent condition. Beautiful blade with pretty much all of it's original blueing. Grips are very good with some light dings. The metal is to be expected poor quality last ditch in appearance. Overall, this is a very nice example of this extremely hard to find bayonet. Your sling hole stock type 99 demands the very best, why not give it to them?
