Great for those who are not getting enough sunlight & need light therapy to correct mood & energy during the days. This light can possibly correct your sleep pattern! This was only used by me just a few times & then I no longer had the time during my days to use it. I was only able to use it during the afternoon, as I initially worked a night job & then I started to work days, so I didn't need to nor was I able to after that point. So no it did not get used much. The lamp/light is able to sit up from the built in stand on the bottom!
