Description: Description########## Product introduction This is a used model by Char a guitarist who has had a huge impact on the history of Japanese rock and continues to be at the forefront of the scene today. The CHAR MUSTANG based on the iconic OLYMPIC WHITE color MUSTANG that represents his career is a new MUSTANG that is packed with Char's unique ideas. This model will be released as a MADE IN JAPAN model that is easy for more people to pick up. Fender began selling the MUSTANG in 1964 the same year that the first Olympics were held in Japan in Tokyo and Char's guitar career began right around that time. After more than 50 years the 2020 Olympics were decided in Tokyo. Inspired by this a project was started to embody Char's idea of ??creating a new MUSTANG that is easy for beginners to pick up in a color related to the Olympics and returning to the concept of the student model that MUSTANG originally had. The concept behind the model is a Mustang with the functionality of a Stratocaster. The synchronized tremolo bridge has been newly developed to match the body thickness of the Mustang which is thinner than the Stratocaster. The unique playability and ease of handling of the Mustang are intact but the arming of the Stratocaster is possible. In addition at Char's request the back panel of the body has been deliberately eliminated to create a simple style. In addition a three-position toggle switch is adopted to allow for more intuitive pickup operation. The position of the control knob has been changed to a position closer to the strings so that the volume can be controlled with a feeling similar to that of a Stratocaster. In addition the pickguard has an original shape that is unique to CHAR Mustang and is not found in the previous Mustang. Regarding the sound of the improved CHAR Mustang Char also praised the clear sound image in the bass position saying that the 5th and 6th strings in particular sound better. As for the condition of this particular instrument there are small scratches and scratches from playing overall and the parts are dull and rusty. It is in player's condition.
