The beret itself is US size 7 or metric size 56 with a leather band, unlined on the inside and has a black wool exterior and was manufactured by Bancroft Cap Company. This beret would make a great addition to any militaria or law enforcement collection and is now being brought to the wide world with this eBay listing. It is extremely rare to come across items with the Air Force District of Washington insignia of any kind.
