Maybe not so much if youre building a 4 door, full sized pickup - but when youre building such a short wheel-based vehicle as a Suzuki Samurai, even the smallests of lifts will dramatically increase the angle of those short, stubby driveshafts under your vehicle. Too steep of an angle? And youll get wicked driveline vibration and dramatically shorten the lifespan of your U-Joints. Up until now, your only choice to extend the reach of your driveshaft when lifting your Samurai has been spacers. Which do the trick - but increase the angle of your driveshafts. Making an already bad problem even worse. Roadless Gear to the rescue: we now are offering replacement extended slip yokes for your Suzuki Samurai drivelines! Like spacers, these slip yokes give you a longer reach - and actually REDUCE the driveline angle in the process. Thus eliminating vibration and u-joint wear and tear. Since you will be re-using your existing driveshaft flange - this product works with all model years Suzuki Samurai. Also works for either front or rear. Includes grease fitting and is compatible with standard driveline rubber boots. Available in two sizes: 1" and 2" longer than stock. Need even more reach than that? Well you can always add a driveline spacer to your new longer driveshaft. Yeah - the angle will start to increase again but hey...sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. But for 90% of the lifts people are putting on a Samurai - this is exactly what you need. A basic SPOA 4-5 inch lift would typically use a 1" extended slip yoke. But if youre doing custom suspensions such as missing links or YJ springs - youll probably want to consider the reach of a 2" extended slip yoke.
