Description: This is a nice new eagle flag pin. Shiny gold-tone metal with red, white, blue and brown enamel. Soaring/landing eagle with stars and stripes wings. The eagle has great detail with feathers, talons, beak and eye, down to his white tail feathers... The United States flag is depicted with stars and stripes in his wings. Very striking for a lapel or hat pin; sure to get compliments. This is not a cheap flimsy metal pin, it is nicely manufactured and "hefty"; about the thickness of a United States quarter coin.The clutch back is strong and fits tight. It will come packed in a small wrapper/bag. The pin is "cloisonné" effect--die-struck and then enamel coloring is applied by hand. The color sits lower than the raised metal lines, creating the pin's design. On top is a clear and shiny epoxy coating "cap" which will make it durable and protect the enamel for years to come.
