Description: WWI US 23rd Engineer Regiment Camouflage Helmet For sale is a British made Brodie helmet painted by an Engineer of Company M, 23rd Engineer Regiment, which was specifically the Highway Building regiment. They arrived overseas rather early, being utilized for combat in the Toul Defensive sector from February to September 1918, the St. Mihiel Offensive, and the Meuse-Argonne offensive. Through this they became a real regiment of combat engineers. The helmet retains the rubber ring from under the liner but the liner and chinstrap are absent. Luckily the paint is in great shape which makes up for that. The Camo is a very unique orange-green pattern with lots of shapes and great paint retention. A very unique Camo with an attractive Camo scheme!
