US WW2 PAL RH36 Fighting Knife Red Spacer W/ Scabbard Broken Snap. Nice Knife.

Description: For sale here is a good looking US WW2 PAL RH36 Fighting Knife. This knife has a light parkerized finish and red handle spacers. The scabbard is present, but it does have a broken snap. The blade shows a very light parkerized finish. It does show a very clean almost professional looking sharpening, and it is very sharp. The edge has no nicks and a perfect point. The blade shows some use, scuffs, draw marks, and has an overall light grey look from the remnants of the parkerization. The left side ricasso is marked with the PAL logo RH-36 model designation, and it is marked Made In USA. The crossguard and pommel are nice and tight and show light wear and age. These are not bent, and have no major issues. The leather spacer handle has a red spacer at each end. The leather spacers are dark from use and show only minor wear with a few dings. The scabbard is very dark. All grommets are present and show age. The stitching near the tip has a few issues, but the stitches are broken open. The scabbard shows use, age, wear, a few scuffs, and some darkening, but is nice and supple. Unfortunately, the throat strap is fragile, and the male snap has pulled through. The knife fits the scabbard nicely, but the throat strap does not work. Overall, this is a nicely used and very sharp knife. Please see my other eBay store at Cadencemilitaria2 for other great items.
