Description: Original WWII US Army dress jacket OD wool gabardine construction with sewn on belt. Beautiful bullion captain rank sewn on shoulders. 5th Army patch sewn on the left shoulder. Note how the shoulder straps are a slightly different shade that the rest of the uniform. Name tag sewn on lining. Identified to a 'Dr. Parrott'.This came out of Washington State (Tacoma area). I found a Robert Miles Parrott who was a Captain in the Medical Corps and served in the 5th Army in Italy. This could be a good match for this jacket. Worthy of further research! Good condition. Light wear. A couple some moth bites here and there (Not much).The belt stitching is coming loose on one side as pictured. Great large size!
