Description: A scarce and unusual vintage dog food dish by Spode (England), featuring various dog breeds around the side above a red grassy band. Dog breeds include: Retriever, Dachshund, Spaniel, German Shepherd, Scottie, Poodle, Boxer, Yorkie, Corgi, Setter, Pekingese and possibly a Border Collie. This heavy bowl is meant for use, although I never used it but kept it in my dog bowl collection behind glass. The design is quite striking and appealing. It measures 2 1/2" tall by 6" across the opening at the top. Sides are slanted for dogs with long ear fringe. Weighs just under 2 pounds. No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations.
