Description: Various Chinese Folk / Classical Performance Ensembles Chinese Classical Music Manin HK Record Hong Kong MNLP-101 Excellent (+) / Near Mint (-) 10 tracks - the small orchestra which recorded these selections is uncredited, but may be identified by the Chinese language print on the cover, which I am not able to translate. LP: (Graded) Excellent Plus / Near Mint Minus, according to Goldmine record grading definitions. This record grades as an LP that appears to either have been handled and played only in the most careful manner possible yet did pick up a few minus sleeve scuffs and hairlines. The plating surface and labels are pristine with as new glossiness. The LP is exceptionally clean and turntable ready. Play Grade: Near Mint - this pressing is terrific sounding - the quietness of digital and the richness of analog. The absence of surface noise both during and between tracks, rivals Compact Disc quietness for the most part, with a few exceptions, one of which is a muted click intermittent through Track 2 / Side A. But generally, the lack of background noise is particularly important with a recording such as this with various passages that are acoustic and sparsely accompanied.
