About 54" long when unfolded and weights about 7 or 8 pounds. Uses round florescent bulb. Works but the light switch is a bit finicky. It does not have a full base. The bottom does have an outlet Light Head does not sit in the arm - part is broken. Needs some TLC and repairs /maintenance because of its age. Its a little dusty and rusty.
