Description: This belonged to my late Grandmother. Likely purchased/made sometime in the 1940s-1960s, though I wouldn't be surprised if she had it made later in life. All of her fur was real, as far as anyone in the family was aware, but I admittedly have no idea of how to figure that out. I am not sure what kind of fur it could be, maybe mink? This fur is very soft and I think in decent condition. The backing clearly needs lots of work. It has been sitting in a chest for at least 15 years since my grandmother died, but I imagine she hadn't used it in quite some time. There is a big smell of mothballs. I'm kind of nervous about using any products on the furs as I don't want to ruin them. But I am looking into ways to get rid of the smell and will update the listing if I succeed. I realize if this is genuine fur of some kind, I'm probably underselling it. Right now, we just want to clear out space and I'd love to see this go to someone who can fix it up nice and will either wear it or put it on display. The fur is about 51 inches long and about 10 inches across. Please message me if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them!
