Description: Lightly restored 2 1/8 x 9 1/4" hand plane, please see photos for better idea of the condition. All bare metal on the body was wire wheeled, still in very good condition with little to no pitting and only a few small dings on the mouth. All japanning is original and was cleaned off. The knob and tote were cleaned and have a coating of beeswax/danish oil to protect the wood and bring back some of the original wood color. The top cap is in good condition and was also wire wheeled, the locking mechanism works as it should. The blade and chip breaker are were both wire wheeled and have little to no pitting. The frog, blade adjustment, and all screws were also wire wheeled and cleaned. All metal parts received a coating of microcrystalline wax to protect from rust and preserve the remaining japanning.
