UKMonsters Stock Plus Racing +1" Chassis kit for the Tamiya Clodbuster / Clod

Description: This is the 11.5" wheelbase option. This auction is for the chassis kit only, the last pictures are of a complete chassis/truck You will need your own clod gearboxes, shocks, wheels/tyres and electronics. You will also need a steering setup(s) and/or rear lockout. Buying Options: You can buy the Chassis on its own or Chassis with 2 x steering kits for 4 wheel steeringorChassis with 1 x steering kit and 1 x rear lockout for 2 wheel steering. Features: This is the "Racing" version of the Stock Plus chassis and comes with a single piece carbon side plate making it legal to race in RCMT stock class racing. All other features are the same as the regular Stock Plus chassis. The Stock Plus Racing chassis kit comes unassembled as a builders kit with a colour instruction manual. The Stock Plus Racing retains the original suspension mounting points for the ladder bars, shock absorbers and body mounts. It extends the original 10.5” factory wheelbase out to 11.5" for longer more stable truck. The main chassis frame is CNC machined from solid 8mm aluminium alloy and has 3mm carbon fibre wings braced by 8mm alloy brace bars. All included hardware are high quality stainless metric hex head screws. The carbon top deck comes in 2 pieces, both can be used to capture the battery and motor wires if desired. Or just use 1 if you don’t need the extra space! The delrin body mounts are stronger than the originals and are height adjustable. They can be used as traditional pins for use with body clips or flipped round to use the optional thumb wheels, both options are included. Installation: The battery has been relocated to the lower middle of the chassis, there is room for a shorty lipo with dimension no larger than 28mm(H) x 47mm(W) x 98mm(L). A central servo position cannot be used so you will also need an on axle steering and/or rear lockout solution.The chassis comes as a kit and requires assembly, full instructions are included. This chassis kit is designed to replace the stock Clodbuster plastic tub chassis. It uses the original ladder bar suspension and can retain the original shocks.
