It also supports NOAA weather channels and weather alerts.The Uniden GMR4055 features a backlit display, vibrate call alert, 10 Call Tones, channel scan, Power Boost PTT, keypad lock and VOX capability. It also has a built-in emergency strobe light for use as a flashlight or emergency beacon.The GMR4055 can be powered by 3 AA alkaline batteries (not included) or 3 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries (included) as needed.
