Description: Seen above is the fabulous antique hardcover (7 3/4" x 9 3/4") Two Travelers in Europe - A Unique Story Told by One of Them; What They Saw and How They Lived While Traveling Among....., by Mrs. Herman J. Hall, Curator at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, Hampden Publishing 1913. Profusely illustrated with engravings from original photographs and drawings. This is an ex-library book as seen by the call number on the spine and the notations on the front endpapers; withdrawn in 1918! 602 pages all but the one shown free of any stains, rips or blemishes; these stains do not impact the text. The dark green cover is decorated with gold title and gold and slightly raised palm tree design on spine and back as well. The spine shows wear at the top and bottom; the gold lettering is clear. The binding is good. Many thanks for looking.
