Description: We are thrilled and honoured to be offering for sale a number of items from the late Stan Tracey's own personal collection on behalf of his son Clark Tracey. This includes many extremely rare albums, some purchased by Stan during his time in New York, plus test pressings and other gems collected over his lifetime as a musician and composer. A rare 1967 UK 1st Stereo press copy of The Tubby Hayes Orchestra - 100% Proof released on the Fontana Black/Silver label, catalogue no. STL 5410. This was Stan Tracey's personal copy and he is credited on the album for arranging S2 Track 3 "Nutty" - see notes on sleeve. The record has been Degritter cleaned and retains an excellent sheen with barely any marks visible. A few faint spindle trails - we have graded EX. It plays through beautifully with very clean and clear sound and wonderful stereo separation. No playback issues. The flipback laminate sleeve is really solid with only a hint of laminate lift near the top LH corner. Slight ringwear visible to rear and a couple of marks but overall easily VG+. The original heavyweight inner sleeve is present & still doing a great job. The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
