Description: A rare review copy of T.S. Eliot's literary lectures delivered at the University of Virginia in 1933. Written with emotional turmoil at the end of Eliot's first marriage, the lectures were withdrawn after being reprinted only once in Eliot's lifetime. A very good copy of the first printing with the original publisher's review slip laid inside. Some light chipping to the jacket. The mylar sleeve covering the jacket appears to be a little loose (can be easily replaced with a new one). Light wear to the pages near the bottom of one section at the beginning (as pictured, gently loosening just a little bit). Small smudge mark to the jacket, a crease to the top of the inner flap. See pictures for a closer look!
