Description: This is a truly vintage rosary, Holy Communion. It appears to be circa mid-century, 1950s. ROMA. ITALY. VINTAGE WHITE LUCITE BEADS. CIRCA 1950s. You will receive the exact rosary pictured. This rosary measures 17.5" overall length. The crucifix measures 1.75". The rosary weighs 11.0 grams. The beads are vintage white LUCITE. They are oval in shape, about 7mm. All the beads are the same size. The centerpiece is very unique. Jesus holds the Chalice in one hand, the other hand raised. The letters IHS are inscribed on the bread. (NOTE: the IHS lettering is very small. I located it with a magnifying glass.) The reverse of the centerpiece depicts grapes and wheat. The crucifix is marked ROMA and ITALY on reverse. Overall, this rosary is in very good to good vintage condition. It is sound and 100% complete. One LUCITE bead has been replaced with a bead similar in appearance. The centerpiece and crucifix show some age-related discoloration and blemish. This is not surprising, given the rosary's age.
