Description: Triumph TR2-TR4A Hurricane Fan Blade FINALLY! A high-performance fan blade that cures overheating due to low air flow through the radiator. This is a direct bolt-on replacement for the original OEM fans that only "beat-up" the air after it passes through the radiator core. No expensive adaptors are required to install this on your 4-cylinder TR, but unfortunately you will still have to remove the front apron and radiator on the TR2-TR3B, just as you would with the original OEM Triumph fans. Did we mention this is a "direct" replacement for the original fans? Developed in collaboration between Macy's Garage and an automotive fan manufacturer, these Hurricane fan blades feature an advanced airfoil design that will actually draw 3x more air through the radiator at idle than a stock fan can pull, all while still retaining the harmonic vibration dampening provided by the OEM fans. In testing, we've done parades in our own TR's in 90 degree F temperatures, and the water temperature gauges stay pinned at the 185 degree thermostat setting. Over 500 now in use, and a special favorite with TR owners in the hottest parts of the USA. Re-use your stock fan mounting hardware, but plan on replacing at least the rubber bushings if yours are over 1 year old. We do offer an optional Fan Blade Mounting Kit (MCY402) with new rubber bushings and stainless steel hardware if you'd like all new parts, and this mounting kit can also be used to install original Triumph fan blades if you like worrying about what the temperature gauge is doing when you're stuck in traffic!
