These units have the 20hz update rate option enabled which makes them extremely fast. The R12s combine powerful ground-breaking technologies like Trimble HD-GNSS, Trimble Sure Point, Trimble 360 and xFill. These unit's track L1, L2, L2c, L5 carrier signals and GPS, Galileo, Glonass, Bei Dou, QZSS and IRNSS satellites. The Trimble TSC5 has Access software v.2024.01 and roads module enabled. Cellular Base to Rover Connection Using a server with router software on it, it allows you to connect a base and stream the base data to the server using a specific port and IP address. Once the data is streaming from the data collector or the Web UI in a receiver that data can be retrieved using a corresponding port. Because this data moves at the speed of light there is very little latency in the cellular connection. This allows you to have a connection to your base of 10 miles or more with very little latency. This system does not allow an NTRIP connection so assuring you stay on your designated port is extremely important. Because you are streaming data through cellular you can also stream data using your internal or external radio for those areas of spotty cellular coverage. Once you have the survey style and GNSS contact setup (preconfigured Survey Styles prior to shipping) you start the base and rover as normal and off you go.
