Description: Trezor Model One Black Pre-Owned. Tested Working. Please see Photos for Item Condition. This is my personal Trezor Model One Crypto Cold Wallet / Hard Wallet. I am the sole owner of this device.This unit was purchased directly from Trezor's Official Amazon Webstore: Satoshi LabsPurchased: 2017Website: Trezor Official Amazon Webstore (SatoshiLabs)This device has been completely wiped clean after upgrading to their latest firmware. Trezor still sells this Model One on their website for $49.00 (as of Dec 2024) I recently upgraded to the Trezor Safe 5, and no longer have any use for this Model One. I am selling multiple cold wallets after having tried several different kinds. I hate throwing away perfectly good devices, and so I am listing it on eBay. Full Disclosure (PLEASE READ):It is considered bad practice to buy any cold wallet device from a third party seller used or new due to safety concerns about the unit possibly being hacked and tampered with prior to selling. I am a regular person with no experience in mechanical engineering or hardware coding. I work as a designer/artist as my full time job. I am not a tech genius, if you need technical help with the device you will have to contact Trezor and they will blame you for purchasing a Trezor device on eBay. This warning applies to every listing you see here on eBay for cold wallets. It's important to know that when you purchase any cold wallet / hard wallet you must generate your own seed phrase and never use any seed phrases provided by a seller. Please understand that your seed phrase is the only thing keeping your crypto secure, as exposing the seed phrase means your wallet is completely compromised and you must generate a new seed phrase:NEVER use a seed phrase given to you by ANYONE. NEVER generate a seed phrase in front of any device with a camera (cell phones, tablets, laptops, inside of a room with a surveillance camera). Remove all devices with a camera, or cover the devices first before generating your seed phrase. NEVER say your seed phrase out loud in front of any device with a microphone (cell phones, tablets, laptops, or in any room with a smart home device as it is CONSTANTLY LISTENING TO YOUR CONVERSATIONS). NEVER type your seed phrase out on any computing device (cell phones, tablets, laptops as these devices are connected to the internet and if your computing device is compromised with a key logger then your seed phrase is compromised). The whole point of a cold wallet is that your seed phrase is stored and encrypted onto a separate device to protect it from hackers or key loggers. NEVER take a photo of your seed phrase on any camera or device EVER. Most devices are all connected to the cloud and anyone who has access to your files on the cloud will have access to your seed phrase and cryptos. Be sure to write down your seed phrase in a completely secure room that has no cameras or microphones or anybody watching and be sure to properly secure it before leaving the room. BE SURE to follow ALL safety measure of securing your seed phrase.It is generally considered safe practice to split your crypto between multiple cold storage devices incase any single one of them gets compromised. Check on your crypto once in a while through the public address on the blockchain to make sure your cryptos are still secure on your cold storage device. Please be sure to follow all proper protocols.Please be aware that if at any point there is an issue, Trezor will blame you for purchasing on eBay. I am passing this device on to someone else because I hate seeing perfectly good devices being thrown in the trash.You can use this device to run your own tests, and do as you please but please be sure you actually know what you're doing. When first using this device with Trezor Suite app, it will ask "Have you used this Trezor before?" - you must select "yes, set up my Trezor" and proceed to setup the device with a new seed phrase. You must select "yes" because this device is pre-owned and updated to Trezor's latest firmware. If you select "No, I haven't" it will take you to their FAQ page instead.
