Given age, most likely, but there is no stamp or insignia to confirmcover feels "padded". Hard to describe, but it is like a thin, very soft leather stretched over harder inner covers with filling in between. Gold-red giltno ribbonsmall in size (see photo with pen, ~5.25 inches tall) Condition: Good (for its age)inscription in the front that dates the book to 1923, but the table of feasts suggests at least 1919. gold embossed letters on the spine are wornscuffs and wear along the spine top and bottom. gold gilt looks very good, with few scuffs. inner front cover is a bit of page separation, but minimal (see photo)more significant separation of the inner title page(adjacent to the image of Jesus). There is external scuffing along the spine-- in the photos it takes on a greenish tint-- but no indication of moisture exposure. Might be how the material has worn over the past 100 years, but I don't really knowbook lays out a bit awkward p318-319. No writing found, but I cannot guarantee I didn't miss something.Sold "as is".
