Description: This hand-glazed pottery vase was made in the traditional style of the Lakota Sioux, signed by S.L. Jones. It is about 6 inches tall with a bulbous bottom that is about 4-5/8 inches in diameter and a narrower neck that is about 2-1/8 inches in diameter. The vase is covered all around with intricate carved designs that were molded - similar to the earlier Pine Ridge Sioux pieces - and 5 black trim rings Small felt feet have been added to the bottom. It is a sturdy vase and could certainly hold a floral arrangement - or it looks good to display on its own. It is in very good condition - no chips, hairlines, or crazing. Ships USPS.
