Description: Tirschenreuth Purple Orchids & Gold Handled Basket / Bowl Circa 1903 - 1931 Pretty porcelain handled bowl or basket. Decorated with large hand colored purple orchids with gold gilt highlights. With heavy gold gilding along the edge. Signed Care. Marked on the bottom with a crown over a shield and P T inside a wreath over Bavaria. This mark was used by Tirschenreuth between 1903 and 1931. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. JR BX
