Description: This candle lantern has 3 glass sides and one tin side. The tin side has nine punched crosses and a rolled top designed to lift the tin and insert the candle. Wire has been soldered to the tin frame on the glass sides to protect the glass. The lantern is raised on 4 small feet that are mortised through the bottom of the lantern. It has a rolled tin handle above the heat shield. The tin is pitted with age; otherwise the lantern is in very good condition. It is approximately 14 1/2" tall and 4 3/4" square, excluding the wire guards,
