This is due to the manufacturer's quality control, which must have ignored or overlooked the usual base attached to the specific pose shown. We purchased the original figure direct from Timpo in the 1970s, and are selling it exactly as it was received, except for the head swap.We put this together by taking a Timpo 7th Cavalryman, and adding the head of the wounded cavalryman from the travois set. Limited stock. The elements of this figure were produced by Timpo in England in the late 1970s or early 1980s. It was made in unpainted plastic, but appears to be painted as it was cast using a method (now lost) in which different colors of plastic were fused together by the manufacturer to give the model the appearance of being painted. Figure is in mint, undamaged condition and is not previously owned (dealer stock). Although originally created to be swappable, we don't recommend it, as the plastic can sometimes shear off. Items are sold in as-is condition and we cannot replace any pieces.
