Author Biography Murray Edmond is a poet, playwright, theatre director, editor, academic and critic. He was active in experimental theatre companies in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 1997 he has been the Dramaturge for Indian Ink Theatre Company. He has published 14 books of poetry and a book of novellas. In 2014, Atuanui Press published a volume of his critical writing. From 1985 to 2014, he taught Drama at the University of Auckland, where he was an Associate Professor. He edits the on-line journal Ka Mate Ka Ora: A New Zealand Journal of Poetry and Poetics. He has been a finalist four times in the poetry section of the New Zealand book awards. He lives in Glen Eden, Auckland.
