He was also granted a Fellowship to the Royal Society of Literature. Through intense research into the history of Venice seafarers, he was able to compile this story of early challenges and successes of these Renaissance maritime events. This piece includes the letter from the original book mailing that provides additional information about the author and any consultants, their background, and contributions.
