Description: ART DECO RELISH (Tiara Item #10007 - Tiara was in business 1970 - 2000) This is a beautiful Blue Art Deco Handled Relish Made by Indiana Glass for Tiara Circa 1977 The following is what Tiara wrote in their 1973 Catalog. In 1925 the International Exposition of Decorative Arts opened in Paris and introduced to the world a bold new design style. The sleek geometric style that was borrowed from the Cubists came to be known as Art-Deco. Tiara has dusted off the old moulds, dating from World War I and given them new life. The original glass, made from these same moulds over fifty years ago is widely sought by collectors and listed in their catalogues as the "Pyramid" pattern. This lovely Handled Relish is 8" x 8" x 6 1/4" tall It is in good condition! I washed and inspected item and found No cracks, chips, or repairs!
