Description: This is a well USED original T-30-S Throat Microphone. These were used by the US Army Air Corps, The Signal Corps, and other branches of the US military during WWII. This is an original and used. It comes with the neck strap. The neck straps are well used and most are showing some wear damage. There are also some different color variations. The leather ends will need a little leather conditioning. (see the examples in the pictures) The throat mike units have the PL-291 plug that will plug into the push to talk unit. Since these are used and 70+ years old they will be dirty and there will be corrosion around the little metal retainer clips that hold the microphone to neck contact pads. This is most likely from sweat. The rubber is in good condition and can simply be wiped down with a damp rag to clean. These are sold as single units, one throat microphone and one neck strap. Note: I have posted multiples of these units in the pictures so you can see the condition and small differences. These are pulled at random from the box. We do not cherry pick.
