Disc 1 actually plays, but it does skip a little on the intro only. After it gets past the introduction, Disc 1 actually plays smoothly, which is interesting because Disc 1 even has a CRACK. You can see the crack in Disc 1 in the photos. But still, it plays. Disc 2, however, has many scratches (no cracks), but does not play at all. I am going to look into getting these resurfaced.
