Description: This is a rare good+/ very good copy of "The Cripple Creek Strike, 1903-4-5 Emma Langdon~IWW Radical Classic~WFM~Mother Jones". It's pretty clean with a tight binding with the back hinge starting. Emma Langdon was an employee of the Victor Daily Record newspaper just around the corner from me in Victor Colorado The book is in its original form and was printed in 1905 with an additional section added in 1908 about the Union leader's trials. The cloth binding is tight and intact. Owners name on front flyleaf. This one doesn't have the very rare original poster and has half of the second fold out photo missing. Also included is a cabinet card of S. D. Crump, attorney for the Mine Owners Asso. as well as a $400 check endorsed by Crump. These books are notorious for coming apart and it's hard to find one that is complete with a tight binding. This is a first edition but the third iteration with 596 pages. The first being self published in 1904 with 248 pages. I will also include 5 free random Cripple Creek District checks from the 1890s to early 1900s with this book Thanks for looking.
