Description: Upgrade or replace your old door’s blind operator cover. I noticed there was no way to order and replace the old cover so I made my own! Comes with the cover only as the magnet cartridge is even more impossible to find a replacement for. To replace your old cover: Move the slide operator (the magnetic slider) all the way down and off the guide rail. If the magnet cartridge is still glued to your old cover, use a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the glue and remove it from the cover. Now would be a good time to apply a very small amount of wd40 or other thin lubricant to the small wheel bearings in the cartridge. Press fit the magnet cartridge into the new cover. Slide the new unit up into the guide rail all the way until it engages with the internal blind magnets! Enjoy your new cover!
