Description: THE WORLD IN 1589 THE WORLD IN 1626 THE NEW WORLD IN 1695 Totius Orbis Cogniti Universalis Descriptio A New and Accurat Map of the World Planisfero del Mondo Nuovo From the Atlas, Speculum Orbis Terrae Prospect of the Most Famous Parts Atlante Veneto by Gerard and Cornelis de Jode, 1593 of the World, by John Speed, 1627 P. Vincenzo Maria Coronelli, 1695 These "3" LIKE NEW Maps, are from our late Uncle's Music & Book Collection, including many other Treasures along the way. He was a Concert Organ musician over 65 years, living to 98. These maps were in this mailing tube for some time. Cannot locate any actual printing dates. The paper is called heavyweight matte paper. Maps are quite colorful & intricate. They were in the tube awhile, as they are difficult to unfold, (needing 2 sets of hands). The ends are easy to wrinkle if you wrestle with rolling them out. There are some of those end wrinkles that we show in those last 3 photo's. Doesn't appear as though they were ever displayed or put in frames. They measure approx 23.5 x 17.5 inches, (24x18), as some measurements are called. The original description cards are still attached to each other. Appearing Colorful, Rich, & Clean. Uncle would receive many "Thank You" gifts for his benefit concerts that he performed, especially as he got older. He played at many a Church, Temple, Theater...... These maps were one of those gifts. We would like to put everything back in the tube - 3 Maps, & Description cards. Then we will wrap & pack the tube safely, to send out to you. Any questions, do not hesitate. Thank you for all your time here.
