The Wizard of Oz signed Buddy Ebsen bank check while making Oz Aug 1938 RARE !

Description: Item Description: This is a rare vintage original signed bank check from actor Buddy Ebsen (aka real name "C.L." which is for Christian Ludolf Ebsen) signed to himself and endorsed as such on reverse. The check was written and used in August 1938 at the time he was making The Wizard of Oz at MGM as the original Tin Man. (There are two small stains on the checks, as shown. Droplets of silver makeup?) The check is rare because Ebsen uses his real name and because it is from his months in Oz, dated Aug 15, 1938. Very good condition, one fold and a pinhole in the check. This is a small sized bank check, signed boldly in black ink which has held up quite nicely. Of course, the watermark "ebay" does not appear on the item. Note: this is the actual endorsed and cancelled bank check up for auction, not a copy of any nature.
